Dear Sir,
I have a “Royal African Company” item dated 1725. It appears to be an oval brass piece that states the company name and a raised coat of arms on the front. The reverse says ” 1725/Royal African Company/Black Labor Supply/
His Majesty’s Tax No./ and then a stamped 70. Could this be authentic, and where could I have it appraised? Thank you for your help. Richard Gheesling
